Cinnamon Jewellery

I finally finished sorting out my silver box recently. It's full of Sterling Silver findings that I used a lot when I first started making jewellery but as the style of jewellery I make has changed a lot of it just wasn't being used anymore. So rather than the findings just sitting there I thought I'd set them free! I've had a couple of commissions recently, funnily enough all for the same design! ♥ I love beads, they are almost as important to me as chocolate, and even though I already have.... err.... seven boxes of them (recently sorted by colour which believe me makes jewellery making a whole lot easier) I just can't resist "acquiring" more! You see, there was this lump of money burning a hole in my PayPal account so I've been browsing on Etsy and happily spending! Now if only they could instantly transport themselves, a la Star Trek, to my studio (dining room table) it really would be a perfect world!

I first came across Wenche's beautiful jewellery through  Lima Bead's  Design Gallery. She has a real eye for colour and bead combinations and uses her talent to produce stunning necklaces and bracelets from her home in Norway. Meet ......... Wenche Brennbakk My name is Wenche Brennbakk and I live with my two girls and my husband in a small city close to the Artic circle in the northern part of Norway. During the day I work full time as an engineer with environmental issues, but during my sparetime I love to work with my beads making jewellery, and I do it as often as I can. This morning I ventured out in the car ~ the first time for about 4 days! Happily my poor snow~covered Fiesta started first time and I pootled into a fairly quiet Eastbourne town centre. Did a few errands ~ the bank to pay in a cheque I got for Christmas(!), posted a letter and had a look at the bead/jewellery mags in WH Smith. Now normally I buy every jewellery/bead magazine I come across (apart from Beads & Beyond, seen a few issues and don't think much of it) but today I exercised supreme self~control and WALKED AWAY! I also put down a cute little owl notebook I found in Poundland after deciding I didn't really need it as I have two brand new notebooks at home. I really think there's something wrong with me. I was going to buy myself some chocolate too but decided I could do without...........now I know there's definitely something wrong with me! Or maybe it's because I know there's still a big box of Ferrero Rocher in the cupboard........... I love yo...
